Jesmond Pace FCCA FIA CPA Group Managing Director jespace@factconsulting.net Jes is the founder member of FACT way back in 1998. He is the Senior Partner in Jes Pace & Co (Audit and Assurance) and Managing Director of FACT Group. Jes has extensive experience in different sectors and industries gained following his successful career span of nine years at Deloitte. As Managing Director of the FACT Group, his focus lies on business development of the organisation and is the mentor behind its business philosophy. He is fluent in Maltese, English and Italian Jes is a certified public accountant and auditor (CPA) after pursuing a modular 5-year work/study course of studies and examinations to qualify as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA). Jes is a fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (UK), a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants and member of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners. Jes also holds a Certificate in Trust Administration and Law issued by the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners in association with the Malta Financial Services Authority. He also holds the position of a director on the Board of the Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) in Malta and on the CPA Associates International of the European, Middle East & Africa region.

Melanie Saliba ACCA MIA CPA Senior Manager msaliba@factconsulting.net Melanie joined the organisation soon after its inception in 2000 and specialises in accountancy, audit and assurance, management consultancy, business advisory and taxation. Melanie is a qualified certified public accountant after pursuing a modular 5-year work/study course of studies and examinations to qualify as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA). Melanie is a fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (UK) and a Member of the Malta Institute of Accountants. Melanie is responsible for a vast portfolio of clients made up of a mixture of owner managed businesses and groups of companies with an international presence across a variety of industry sectors. She delivers a range of services from audit to strategic and tax planning for local and international clients. As Senior Manager, Melanie leads a team of professional staff ensureing clients have access to the very best by implementing and monitoring of quality assurances on the services provided such as audit compliance, tax compliance services and tax mitigation solutions. Melanie is fluent in Maltese and English.

Matthew Sapiano B.Accty (Hons) Audit Senior, Audit and Assurance Services msapiano@factconsulting.net Matthew has joined FACT Group in 2004 and as an auditor, he deals with a varied portfolio of high net worth clients, and is responsible for leading audit teams to ensure audits and projects are completed within set timescales. He manages the audit process with consideration of audit risk issues and associated accounting technical matters. Matthew is also responsible for drafting final documents for managers/partners and is also responsible for coaching and training junior staff members. Matthew works closely with clients to provide specialist advice on a wide range of internal audit and risk assurance services to our local clients and worldwide organisations. He graduated with Honours as a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Malta - Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy. Matthew is fluent in Maltese and English. As part of his course of studies at the University of Malta, Matthew published a thesis on “The Management Representation Letter: The Perspectives of Maltese Sole Audit Practitioners and Small Companies”.

Clayton Mifsud B.Accty (Hons) Accounts and Corporate Services Assistant. cmifsud@factconsulting.net Clayton joined our company as a part-time trainee accountant back in June 2004 after he had started a Bachelor in Commerce in 2002. At the University of Malta, Accountancy and Management were his major studies, and he graduated in 2005. Subsequently Clayton enrolled in a Bachelor of Accountancy, which he successfully completed and passed with honors. FACT Consulting welcomed Clayton on board as a full-time Audit and Accounts Assistant after completing his studies with success. He assists our management team in updating Clients' Accounting Records and Closing off and Preparation of Accounts. Clayton communicates fluently in Maltese, English and Italian. As part of his course of studies at the University of Malta, Clayton published a thesis on “The Impact of Information Technology on the Accountancy Profession in Malta”.

Alison Gauci Administration and Secretary agauci@factconsulting.net Alison joined the FACT team in June 2007. She is now running the Front Office and organising the Back Office. Alison is responsible for all Client Relations and any further secretarial requirements. Alison has been working in the Tourism Industry for the past 5 years, and she has obtained a Certificate in Hotel Operations from the Institute of Tourism Studies, focusing on Front Office and Accomodation Operations. Before ITS she completed her Matriculation Course at College, and obtained an Advanced Certificate in Marketing and Music. Alison shall be implementing her Marketing Skills and Knowledge in her new position with our company to fulfill the necessary requirements in the marketing field. She is fluent in Maltese, English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Amanda Farrugia Back Office Services afarrugia@factconsulting.net Amanda joined the Group in 2004 and is the person responsible for back office services. She is also Client Relations Officer of the organisation. Amanda handles client banking requirements, Company Secretarial work, including compliance with MFSA regulatory requirements, accounting as well as VAT and Tax accounting. Amanda holds a Certificate in Secretarial and Administration studies from the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology. Amanda is fluent in Maltese, English and Italian.

Luke Savona Trainee Accountant and Junior Auditor lsavona@factconsulting.net Luke joined the FACT Group in January 2008 as a Trainee Accountant and Junior Auditor. He holds a diploma of the Association of Accounting Technicians, for which he obtained a course at the Malta College of Art, Science and Technology (MCAST). As part of his course of studies at MCAST, Luke published a project on “Analysing the Debtors’ System of a Public Limited Company" Luke is fluent in Maltese and English. Currently, he is furthering his accountancy knowledge through a course by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
